Musical Selection
If you are planning an event and already have an idea of what type of music you would like, you are well ahead of the game! I enjoy playing quite a variety of music, from classical favorites to pop standards, so you can be sure we will find exactly what you are looking for.
If, on the other hand, you need some help figuring out what you would like, I would be happy to help. The Song List page can give you a good starting point, or I can provide some suggestions once I get a better feel for what sort of mood you are looking to create.
Points to Consider
To be comfortable, I need a space of about 6 feet by 6 feet. If your event is outdoors, the space needs to be relatively flat.
I prefer to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the scheduled start of an event. That gives me enough time to set up and tune the harp so that I can begin playing in time for the first guests to arrive.
For an outdoor event, it is always best to have a back-up plan in the event of inclement weather. Rain, high winds, and even hot sun can present challenges when performing.
